The front of my design for the Hackney Token
Made from Paper water-paint and calico. I used rainbow colours as they are harmonious and warm, and also varied like the population of Hackney.
The obverse of the Hackney Token. A map of the world, in an outline of the multi-cultural borough, showing the diversity of Hackney. Hackney is famous for its welcome to immigrants throughout the ages.
